Revolutionary Perl

Jorn's weblog linked today to the transcript of a speech by Larry Wall about Perl and postmodernism. The more I read about Wall the more I like him. Not only is he one of those precious people honestly interested in making the world a better place, and actually working to do so, but he also thinks in amusing and interesting ways.

And he's an anime fan: He recommends Revolutionary Girl Utena as postmodern anime, and he's probably right.
